SUBTYPE 1 INFLAMMATORY:It is characterized by an upregulated immune system that can increase inflammation and the risk of cardiovascular disease, insulin resistance, arthritis.
SUBTYPE 2 ATROPHIC:is associated
with reduced hormone support - thyroid (T3), adrenal (cortisol), sex hormones
(estrogen, progesterone, testosterone) and vitamin D, and is often accompanied
by increased homocysteine and insulin resistance.
SUBTYPE 3 TOXIC:is characterized
by dysfunction of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis, metal toxicity
(mercury, lead or iron), high homocysteine and low zinc (and high copper)
and/or chronic inflammatory response syndrome - a reaction to mycotoxins (found
