Adrenaline
Adrenaline is a hormone and
neurotransmitter. Adrenaline is normally produced by the adrenal glands and a
small number of neurons in the medulla oblongata, where it acts as a
neurotransmitter involved in regulating visceral functions (e.g. breathing). It
plays an important role in the fight-or-flight response by increasing blood
flow to muscles, cardiac output, and pupil dilation.
When adrenaline levels are low,
you may experience or experience:
-Deficient methylation
-Lack of focus
-Lack of energy
-Poor blood sugar control
-Excess glutamine
-Neurotoxicity
-Anxiety
-Stress and decreased mood
-Sleep disturbances
