Dysbiosis

It is an imbalance in the intestinal flora, with a large proliferation of potentially pathogenic microorganisms or loss of probiotics.

Types of dysbiosis

-Increase in pathogenic bacteria

-Lack of good bacteria (probiotics)

-Disproportion between bad and good bacteria

-Increased growth of fungi

-Low microbial diversity

Causes of dysbiosis:

-Birth by Cesarean section;

-Use of antibiotics;

-Lack of consumption of fiber and bioactive compounds;

-Refined and industrially processed foods containing nitrites and nitrates, which have the function of inhibiting the growth of microbial actions, preserving food;

-Intake of coffee, refined sugar, saturated fats (red meat) and alcohol;

-Inadequate chewing;

-High ammonia content that is derived from incomplete digestion of protein or genetic polymorphisms;

-Stress and anxiety, which lead to poor digestion;

-Malnutrition due to excess or lack of nutrients;

-Pathogens such as Clostridium, Perfringes, Proteus, Pseudomonas, Staph, Giardia and Enterobacteriaceae;

-Zinc deficiency;

-Accumulation of heavy metals in the body, such as mercury, among others.
