Tests that help “detect inflammation”

1. Vitamin B12

Essential for the production of red blood cells and the health of the nervous system. A deficiency can cause anemia and cognitive problems.

 

2. Vitamin D

Essential for bone and immune health. Keep an eye on your intake, especially if you have little sun exposure!

 

3. C-reactive protein (CRP)

A marker of inflammation in the body. High levels may indicate infections or chronic diseases.

 

4. Homocysteine

Amino acid that, at high levels, may increase the risk of cardiovascular disease. It is related to the intake of B vitamins.

 

5. Ferritin

Indicates the body's iron reserves. Low levels may signal deficiency, while high levels may indicate inflammation.
